Dear Bro:

We wish you to forward by the next ship, or as soon as possible, Sister Ann Gooch, <& children> Glass House Gawber, near Barnsley, Yorkshire. England.

It appears this sister has been ordered out three times prior to this, and each time the way has been blocked up.

The amount required to complete their passage money is said to be $140.00 They may require a little more. Borrow the money, if possible, from some one coming here, and draw on me for the same.

My health, which has been rather poorly, I am happy to say is well nigh restored.

We start on Thursday for Payson to attend two days meeting on Saturday & Sunday Elder Peterson & the emigrants are expected in to-morrow (Wednesday) night. Elder George Q. Cannon has been nominated Delegate to Congress. Bro Hooper requesting to be released in consequence of failing health &c.

An enthusiastic ratification meeting endorsing Greeley and Brown was held last Saturday night.

Remember me kindly to all the brethren, and accept for yourself my best wishes. I write thus briefly, desiring to mail this to-night
