Mr. James Osborne

Dear Sir: Yours of the 8th inst. to Prest. B. Young has been received.

So many letters of a similar character are received here that it would be next to impossible to furnish all the aid solicited. We have a regular system of emigration in order to bring those of our people here who are unable to assist themselves, & it is solely through this channel that our funds are used. There are thousands of this class in England alone, many of whom have been from 10 to 20 years in the Church, and are suffering from poverty, and to assist those alone, taxes our energies to the utmost.

Yours with respect
D McKenzie Sec. Prest. B. Young
