Dear Bro:--

Yours to Prest. Young of the 15th inst. has been received.

All our means to assist the emigration have been forwarded to England subject to the direction of Prest. Albert Carrington. It may be, however, that Elder Wm. C. Staines our emigration agent for the U.S. can do something for you, his address is P.O. Box 3957, N.Y. City. You might write to him.

I will mention, that a letter was received here lately from Mr. Jonas Gioe, Omaha, Neb. who wants a large number of stone cutters for the U.S, Court House and Post Office there at from $4.50 to $5.00 per day for 8 hours for good hands. As this is half way to Utah & you say you can get little work where you are it might be advisable to apply for a situation.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
D. McKenzie,
Sec.
