Your communication in behalf of the Citizens' Railroad Committee of San Diego to learn the probabilities of our extending the Utah Southern Railroad to the Colorado River has been received.

We are progressing with our road south, and expect to continue on to the Colorado River just as fast as our circumstances will permit.
