Wm. B. Greene,
Jamaica Plain, Mass.

Sir, Yours to Prest. Young of April 30, was duly received, and about the same time, a copy of a handsome little work entitled "The Blazing Star" &c. which he instructed me to read and reply to. I put the work aside awaiting an opportunity to read it, but I have not found that opportunity yet. I shall place it in the hands of Professor Orson Pratt, one of our ablest men, who has more leisure than I have, and is devoted to literary pursuits. Should you see proper to write to him, his address is S.L. City

Yours with respect

D. McKenzie
Sec. Prest. B. Young.
