Brother Farr,

I learn from Mr. S. G. Simmons, that he has concluded to drop all old matters & complaints entirely, & be baptized, & confirmed, & begin again in newness of life. I see no objection to this mode, so far as I am acquainted with the circumstances, hence it will probably
<be> best for all concerned to drop in future any ill feelings they may have cherished towards Mr. Simmons, and give him another fair chance for Salvation, according to his desires & expressions, realizing that we are all liable to be overtaken in a fault.
