Mrs. C. Crouch,
1, Upper Earl St. Plumstead, Kent, Eng.

Dear Sister, Yours to Prest. B. Young of July 26th. has been received.

So many letters of a similar character are received here, and it is impossible to assist all who apply for help, that the Prest. has adopted the plan this season of sending all means contributed to the P.E. Fund (which is not specially donated for certain persons) to Prest. Albert Carrington, with instructions to help those who have been long in the church and are considered the most worthy, as it is supposed that he has better opportunities of learning the character of the people than we have.

I think your best plan will be to address yourself to Bro Carrington, state the amount you can furnish yourselves, the length of time you have been in the Church, and also references from the presiding elders and if he has the means, he will probably help you.

Your Bro &c
