Dear Bro:--

Yours to Prest. Young of the 18th inst. was duly received.

He instructed me to acknowledge the receipt of it and to inform you that he has adopted the plan of sending all money donated for the poor, (where names were not handed in with the money) to Prest. Carrington to be used for the emigration of those who are considered the most worthy, and it is thought he has better opportunities of finding out the standing and the circumstances of the people than we have here. Your plan is, therefore, to write to him, and there is time yet, as the last company will not leave until the middle of October.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
