Dear Bro:-

Yours of the 15th inst. for some information on the law of adoption was duly received.

This is an ordinance which cannot now be attended to until a Temple is built. All you can do in the matter now, is to hand in to this office, the names of the parties wishing adoption, and their genealogies, with the name of the family into which the adoption is to be made, and
they will be recorded in a book kept for that purpose.

We believe, however, that eventually all will be brought together into their respective tribes.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
