Yours of Sept. 11th. was duly received.

Your husband called to see me some time ago, and I referred him to several different brickyards for employment, but I have no idea where he is now, or what he is doing.

If I discover his whereabouts, I will call his attention to your letter and see what he can do for you. It is nothing but right that he should provide for his family.
