Yours to Prest. Young arrived to hand this morning. As he had gone south this morning, not to return for several days, & I thought it might be of importance, I opened it, & forwarded it to him, I was not sure that I would not be blamed however, and it may be advisable to consider, in view of such a thing as his absence, whether it would not be best to address letters to T.W.E. or to me.

Robt. L. Campbell desires me to request you to order immediately for the D.A. & M. Society, 14 Silver medals and 4. Gold medals as they are wanted for prizes. he will forward you the amount
