Dear Bro:

I am in receipt of a letter to-day from your wife Rosetta, complaining of her very straitened circumstances, and of the efforts she has made to obtain assistance, but without success. We wish you to see to it immediately, that she has the necessary provision made for her support. There must be something materially wrong somewhere, but so long as she is your wife her support devolves upon you, and it is not supposable that she complains entirely without cause.

She wants some hay immediately, and a shelter provided for her stock.

After what has already been written to you by the Presiding Bishop, it seems superfluous to write more, but I hope you will give this attention.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
Brigham Young
