Dear Sir,

Yours to Prest. Young of the 4th. inst. was duly received. He instructed me to write to you that he is not selling goats, and has just sent to Cal. to purchase a buck and a ewe of the pure breed Angora, a very scarce article in this country, although there are many spurious.

He has ordered them of Landrum & Rogers, Santa Cruz Co. Cal. where he is tolerably well satisfied he can procure the pure breed.

Yours with respect
D McKenzie. Sec.
