Dear Sir:

Yours of Nov. 11, proposing for an engagement at the S.L. Theatre was recd. I regret we cannot give you the time you ask as our dates are filled to Jan. 20. Nothing concluded after that, and would be glad to give you time commencing then if we could agree as to terms. Knowing nothing of the character of your entertainment, I am not prepared to say what we could offer you. Your attraction, well presented, will draw here.

Our Theatre seats $950.00 We have a good, full, dramatic Company. Our standard sharing terms are half after $250.00 with half clear benefit in six nights, that is subject to modification, but as our expenses are something over $200.00 a night, the attraction must be strong if we change terms.

Yours with respect,
D McKenzie
