Mrs. Anne Randall.
care of Geo. H. Knowlden,

Dear Sister; Yours of yesterday was duly received.

We have no objection whatever to your embarking in the enterprise, and think it likely that at this season of the year, you may be able to do very well at the business; but we strongly recommend the purchasing of your materials either at the Co-operative Store, or for you to send through that Institution directly east or west, and you will not only effect a saving for yourselves but you will be doing business through the properly appointed channel.

Desiring your welfare and prosperity and that of all Israel.

I remain, Your Bro. in the Gospel.
