Dear Brother:-

Yours of the 20th inst. to Prest. B. Young in relation to divorce for Jane Southam is received. As she is his first wife, I think the best and proper way for her, is to apply to the Probate Judge of the County where she resides, and if the facts are as stated in your letter, her husband will no doubt he required to provide for her in some way, and in case the divorce is granted, the Court will probably allow her part of the property, this course will make it legal.
