Dear Bro:

We see by a letter from Copenhagen that certain parties have joined the Church who have considerable means, and are likely to aid the poor to emigrate.

If such is the case, we wish those who advance money, to be very particular in taking proper obligations from the parties they assist. If the rich feel like giving to the poor, that is another thing, but in making loans, we wish those who loan the money to take notes from those they assist, and have them secured by the best endorsers they can get, and so avoid trouble in the future.

We are pleased to hear of the success of the Scandinavian Mission and hope and pray that you and the elders laboring with you, will be abundantly blessed with the spirit and power of your mission.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
