Dear Bro:--

Yours of the 26th ult is recd. As Prests. Young & Smith are from home, the matter of building a house for Bro. Abbott will have to lay over until their return.

Probably it would be well for you to address a note to Prest. Smith on the subject, as he is the Trustee in Trust; He is expected home on the 6th inst.

In case the house is built as requested, I think it would be proper to charge Bro. Abbott the full price of it, and let him deed the house and lot, for that consideration, and so save trouble which might arise, were he to make a gift of the lot.
