Dear Bro:

We wish the following named persons brought out with the October Company.

Ann Spackman
Emma Spackman
Sarah Spackman
Annie Spackman

Burbage near Marlborough, England.

Myself and party have just returned from a trip to Cache, Rich and Soda Springs. We started on Friday 22nd Augt. and returned at 2.30 this afternoon. We have done considerable talking with the people and my health which was rather poorly before starting is much
improved.

We have recommenced laying rock on the Temple and the derricks just constructed work admirably. With the rock all on the ground and ready to be laid, for three courses, it will
be but a short time before they are in the wall. which will make quite an addition to its height.

Our travelling to-day was in marked contrast with the past; making the trip from Logan to this City in 4 hours and 10 minutes.

I must close in order to mail to-night and will write you at length in a few days.

May peace continue to be with you and all Israel.

Your Bro in the Gospel,
Brigham Young

P. S. Nearly all of the money is on hand here for their emigration, and the rest will soon be forthcoming.
