Dear Bro:

-Enclosed please find forms for three Bonds which I have been instructed to Prest. B. Young to forward to you to be lithographed at Kennard & Hay's N, Y.

For heading & the style should be similar to the Wasatch & Jordan Valley R. R. Bond, (the last bond done there for Utah) with a vignette and side pieces appropriate to the business of manufacturing wool. It is left to your taste to select from their specimens on hand. One design will do for all three to save expense. The Number of each bond and series should of course be printed on the bond and respective coupons. Each series commences with No. 1.

The number of each coupon should be printed in large characters. (but not in gold color) The coupons should be arranged in 8 lines. 6 in each line. Each coupon to shew the date when due. for example No. 1. coupon should read Due 20th April 1874. No. 2. Due 20th October 1874. I will send the Secretary's Autograph by next mail. They should be printed on the back for filing, and shew the series letter. there also. Please have the work done soon as you can and arrange some way to forward to Prest. Young with the bill when completed.

Many thanks for your interest in the College matter, the Catalogues sent are last are just the thing.

The Prest's health is very poor (although improving) he has not been in the office for several days.

I feel that I owe you a long letter, but I must close in order to place this in the hands of one of the Missionaries who start out in the morning. And they will be able to give you the local news.

10 days ago the Prest. telegraphed to John W. to return home as he was wanted to St. George. also, telegraphed to release Carrington, to return together, appointing Bishop Herrick to take charge at Liverpool until the arrival of Joseph F. who will start in the spring, or at any rate not until after the close of the Legislative Assembly. We have received no answer to the telegram, and don't know whether they have started.

Remember me kindly to Bro Staines, and accept best wishes from

Your Bro in the Gospel.
D. McKenzie

P. S.
Please see that nothing has been overlooked in the bonds, as you have had an experience in these matters that I have not had, and correct, or add. if necessary.
