Salt Lake City,
Oct. 31. 1873.

Mr. Charles L. Bradbury,
City.

Dear Bro:

Yours of the 29th inst. has been received. It is very pleasing to find young men whose hearts are in the work, and you seem to take a very proper view of things. The climate at St. George is excellent, and there is an abundance of work to be done, and your services would doubtless be appreciated. See a letter in the "Deseret Evening News" of Oct. 30. signed Park.

I have closed up my building operations for this season and will not require the brick you offer. Should you conclude to go south, you could take Bro Helmsley's obligation for the amount he owes you, and leave it with some good man to collect and forward when paid.

Bro. McIntyre of St. George, now in this City, intends starting south tonight or in the morning, you might arrange to go with him. He is stopping at Bro Riser's, 16th Wd. Bro Boyd Stewart of Long Valley. intends returning early next week, he is staying with Father Woodbury. 7th Ward. I have spoken with both on the subject.

Your Bro. in the Gospel,

D. McKenzie for Prest. B. Young.

P. S. Wm. Empy, father of Nelson Empy is also about starting to St. George. enquire at Z. C. M. I.
