Dear Brethren:

In the case of "Elijah Fordham vs Horace Gibbs" appealed to the First Presidency, the Council decided that Bro. Gibbs pay Bro Fordham $294.58. Bro Fordham claimed wages at the rate of $3.00 per diem. Bro Gibbs stated to the Council he would not pay more than $1.50 per diem.

If we call it $1.50 per diem, it will reduce the balance one half, or $147.29 but as the work was done over nine years ago, we think it right and just to add ten per cent. per annum. making for nine years $279.86. and for ten years $294.58.

We think the least Bro Gibbs should do in the premises is to abide the decision of the High Council.

Please notify the parties accordingly.
