Salt Lake City. U. T.
November 12. 1873.

Bishop John Sharp,
New York City.

Dear Sir,

I wish you to get together all of my Railroad Bonds not actually hypothecated, or held as collateral, from all sources, and hire a safe, in a vault in some place of deposit, and place them there, duly registered subject to my order.

You are hereby authorized, as my Attorney in fact, to shear off all coupons next falling due from all my bonds, and bring them when you return.
Those deposited by the Deseret National Bank will be drawn for by order from that bank.

If William W. Riter is in New York when this reaches you, he can get the coupons from the bonds deposited by Joseph A. and John W. Young.

Yours with respect,
Brigham Young
