Peter Johnson Esq.
Ogden Valley, Weber Co.,

Dear Sir:-

It appears from the testimony of William Wheeler and Paul Olsen that some ten or twelve years ago, you purchased part of a Lot in the second ward, this City, from Bp. Edw. Hunter which belonged to the Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; it does not appear that you ever paid for the Lot as the Trustee in Trust still holds the title to it. Paul Olsen now claims the Lot and says he bought it from you. It will be necessary for you to come to this City, if you can make it convenient, to testify in the case, or otherwise to send, under oath, a full and complete statement giving all the facts in detail in relation to the transactions, if any, between your-self and Bishop Hunter. Please answer immediately what you will do in the premises,

Respectfully Yours,

James Jack
Clerk
