Dear Bro:

The bearer, Mrs. Jackson, suspects that her mother, the late Mrs. Anderson, died through the effects of poison, and, in order to allay feelings and arrive at a correct understanding in the case, desires that a post mortem examination be made of her mother's remains, for which reason she respectfully requests that you issue an order for the exhumation of the body of her mother, that the requisite examination thereof may be had.

This request of Sister Jackson's is commended to your kind consideration, with the hope that it may be granted. She has the seams for defraying such expenses as may attend the granting of her request.

Your Bro. in the Gospel,
Brigham Young
