As many of the small articles in common use in every family are very high here and often not to be had at any price, I wish you would put up for me a small box containing the following articles viz, Pins, Needles, Hunk and Spool thread (cotton) of assorted colors & fineness, assorted tapes, Cording, black and white, flax threads, Shirt buttons, Hooks and Eves of different colors & sizes, a few excellent pairs of Scissors, and large and small Shears for cutting Broad Cloth, to insure a good article, these had better be procured where the brethren make them; fill up with other like articles of common use, and forward the same by the first trusty opportunity, and not by one who will leave them on the way.

To guide you as to quantity in the articles, I will say put up 30[1bs] of thread, other articles in proportion.

Sister Martha Theobold informs me that she is writing a request to you by this mail to obtain Pound 10.0.0 from her father Mr. William Lane of Western Farm, Fresh Water, Isle of Wight, and that she has written to her father to pay Pound 10.0.0 to your order.

This money is a legacy to Sister Theobold, and is in her father's hands, and she wishes you to get it and place Pound 5.0.0 to her credit as a donation to the P. E. Fund Company and Pound 5.0.0 to her credit on tithing.

The November mail has not arrived.
