Dear brother,

Yours of February 21st arrived on the 13th. inst, and I was pleased with your confidence in your ability to carry out the instructions received, and that you enjoyed good health. You will doubtless be both pleased and disappointed that I forward you no new bills, or requirements, but I think you have a plenty to see at present. The Indians are all quiet, and the majority express a desire for "good peace." At our last Conference (the minutes of which you will see in the News") a proposition was made to all the saints, who desired to do so to deed their property to the church and receive their stewardships from the hands of the Bishops, and already many hundreds have joyfully enrolled their names as ready to sign such a deed. This movement promises great spiritual and temporal advancement if faithfully carried out. Your family and the people generally enjoy usual good health, and all matters are moving on harmoniously and prosperously.

I enclose you a copy of the Bills forwarded by Bro. F. Kesler, they were accidentally left out of the last Mail, and are now forwarded to be of use in case Kesler should lose the set he has.
