Your wife has made application to me for support.  It seems needless to me for you to have women sealed to you whom you cannot support.  You must make provision for her unless you can show satisfactory reasons why you cannot, and not cause her to be thrown upon the resources of the Church.

Your immediate attention to this subject is expected, and you will by so doing much oblige

your friend and brother in the Gospel of Peace.
