Dear brother;

Your letter of the 12th. inst, was received to day, asking my counsel, in relation to the propriety of your going, along with our brethren, in the Fall, to the States to settle up some of your affairs &c.

I respond to your wishes, by the first mail,-- sesiring you to be at this place on the 1st of September next, armed and equipped for your journey, and on hand, to do all the good you can to the children of men.
