Dear Bro: -
It was intended to have had Bro Cannon write a note to you to enclose with these documents, but he has gone to Ogden City to day and will not return until after the Mail leaves. We have therefore only to add that Mr Bertrand is a very excellent french gentleman from Paris who wishes to publish in his own country and in his native language the documents enclosed as well as others of like character which perhaps he may deem proper to translate. It is all right to forward these papers according to his request.
