Brother Jonathan Pugmire,

Your note is received, and all is right.

You can use the iron which you mentioned, but I would take it all and give the President credit for it, and not select the best, and leave the remainder on his hands. You can use it for nails or something else. I presume there is quite a quantity of lumber in the fourteenth Ward, if it has not been taken, which you can get and you can take the fence in the carrall, and fence about the barn, pig pen, slaughter house, &c. You must try and send us a few nails each week.

Wheat can now be stored here in bulk, and also at Battle-Creek, but we want all of it floured that can be.

All the Irons in the Foundry may be forwarded except those of Bro. Green's who lives north, and those had better be if they are not called for soon. Those irons lie near the partition, and are together-- they weigh 400 lbs.

We send orders by Arza to the Bishops between here and G. S. L. City for the Tithing butter, eggs, cheese, meat, &c., and trust that you will receive sufficient supplies. Go ahead, and all is right. Remember the object is to get out the wheat and flour, and every thing else must bend to accomplish that object.

We trust that the Bishop and the Military will still urge out the people.
