Dear Brother:-
Your favors of yesterday and to-day are before me. Inform Col. Little and Co. to take herds from the Merchants as you suggested and proceed immediately to the occupying of the herd ground.

Captain Hooper will see Mr. Kavanagh.

Inform John <Bolwinkel> that he should by all means be constantly found at the Office.

Instruct Col. Little not to be responsible for stock especially against Indians.
