Dear Brother:--

Your letter of 23d inst., with statement of receipts and disbursements on Provo Kanyon Road a/c, from Augt. 10th to Novr. 20th, 1858, have been received by hand of Richard Gibbon.

Enclosed you will find two receipts for all the cash received at this office, on account of Provo Kanyon Road, as follows:--

Novr 11th By hand of E. H. Blackburn,     Specie       $315.00

25th By hand of R. Gibbon                       Specie        182.80

 " By hand of  Do.                                     Currency     256.00

                                                                                    $753.80


In your letter you state that you sent by bro. Gibbon $353.00  in currency. Only $256.00 were received, of the following denominations

Old issue Tens $10.00 Ones $3.00              13.00

New issue Fives $45.00 Threes $6.00         51.00

Twos.  $128.00  Ones $64.00                      192.00

                                                                    $256.00


Please say on whose bill of divorce the $5.00 is to be applied.

The $50.00 paid by H. Roberts for a large wagon is received
