Bishop E. H. Blackburn,
Provo,

Dear Bro.:--
Brother J. L. Dunyan has already delivered as much hay as I want of that quality. You will therefore not receive any more from him. He was to have delivered but 10 tons.

A bro. Porter, in Provo, has offered me 25 tons of a good quality of hay, which he says he will haul to my yard in Provo. If the hay is good you can receive it, and put up a pen in the yard and have the hay well secured in it. Bro. Porter said he would name the price and kind of pay to me, You can inform him that I cannot pay cash but will make some other kind of pay, at $10.00 a ton. If you will enquire of Wm. G. Mills he can inform you where bro. Porter can be found.
