Dear brethren,
Bro. Stephen Hales & A. Gillespie have been to see me about cutting Rock for your meeting house. They report that the Rock at Hobble Creek is fully as good or better than what is here. They are acquainted & able to judge. They propose to quarry the Rock & cut it and I recommend you to employ them if it meets your mind.
