Dear Brother :--
Your note of the 15th. ult. making enquiries in relation to taking stock for advance pay to the Emigrating fund with a view of bringing out passengers the ensueing year from England is received. Those remittances must be made in cash <gold> as you are aware that nothing but cash is available in the Emigration for debts due the fund we are still taking stock or currency and would like to have those as well as debts due the church paid up, which would very materially loosen our hands and aid us in future operation.
