Dear Brother:--
It appears from your list of persons indebted to this office, living in your ward, that Calvin Miles says he owes nothing. We hold his note for $350.00. on April 1856, he paid $250.00 in a span of horses, leaving a balance still due of $100.00. If this explanation is not satisfactory, bro. Miles will please call at this office and the matter can be adjusted.
