I have your note of 20th Ult. requesting the gun you brought on with from your mission &c. So far as I understand the case it would have been improper when there were so many elders to get home for the welsh mission to be separated from the rest if they got Pound40. each, because there was only somewhat less than Pound1000. collected for the whole, and more than as much borrowed from the office to enable the company to come home, hence the reason of the property being turned over. This I think is the correct view of the case, but if you will call I will try to let you have a gun
