Sir:
In reply to your note just received, I know of but one house at all suitable for a good hotel that can be obtained in the City. I refer to the house known as the "Wilkin House" and situated on the East side of Union Square.

Any suggestions you wish to make confidentially in regard to a Suitable proprietor, I shall be very much pleased to receive and thereby you will much oblige
