Sir,
Your note of yesterday is just received. In reply I have only to say that Mr. Beck, living on the Indian farm at Spanish Fork called on me last Spring to know if he should trade off fat cattle belonging to the Indian farm which were footsore, for some work cattle for the benefit of the farm. I consented that he should do so.
