In reply to your request of Feb. 28, I have to inform you that it is anticipated that a scale of stock will take place in this city about the middle of April next, the time and place of which you will learn from the 'News' and I do not at present think of any better policy than for you to be ready and attend said sale, I did not receive your letter till yesterday
