Dear Brother:--

Your note of Decr. 10th per brother Hooper, came safe to hand; also President's message and newspaper slips; for all of which favors accept my thanks.  Such favors are always welcome, and, I trust, you will often favor us with such remembrances.

If our correspondence should first come to your hands by bro. John Y. Green, you are at liberty to open and read the letters to bro. Eldredge, and please to forward by private <safe> conveyance to Col. Kane; bros. George Q. Cannon and H. S. Eldredge, instead of entrusting them by the mail.

May God bless you forever,

I remain as ever
Your Bro. in the Gospel of Christ

Brigham Young
