Dear Sir:--
Yours of March 28, with two notes enclosed, arrived per last Eastern mail, and it gives me pleasure to inform you that your request will receive my attention; and judging from the circumstances now within my knowledge, I presume I shall be able to close the business to your satisfaction. Should any at present unknown hindering circumstance transpire, ere the maturity of either of said notes, I will advise you thereof. When collected, the funds will be promptly forwarded to you by the first safe and reliable means of conveyance.
