Dear Brother:
Sister Ballo widow of Dominico Ballo called upon <me> this morning relative to a certain note given by you Aug. 17th 1860 promising to pay Dominico Ballo fifty bushels of wheat delivered in this City on or before the sixth day of October ensuing, and further that in default of so doing you would pay one bushel per month extra until the amount is fully paid. I have placed said note in the hands of Bro John B. Maiben for collection, who will call upon you for that purpose, and hope you will make no further delay in meeting this obligation, as sister Ballo is in immediate need of wheat. We shall expect it here forthwith.
