Sir:-
I hereby acknowledge the receipt of your letter of Nov. 26, and in reply
have to inform you that I do not remember having seen or heard of your son, concerning whom you inquire; but to aid you in your inquiry I caused an "Information Wanted" to be inserted in the Deseret News, (a paper published in this City). with the request that the desired information be furnished to me or to yourself at the earliest practicable date, when, if it comes to my hands, I will take pleasure in at once forwarding it to you.
