Dear Brother:-I have drawn upon you draft No 243, for L5.0.0, favor of Morgan John, Welsh St. Donnatts, Glamorganshire, South Wales; and herewith enclose the draft. Please place the amount to his credit on emigration and advise him of it.

I have also drawn upon you draft No. 244, for L17.0.0, favor of John K. Browne, who wishes the amount paid to John Marsh. The enclosed <copy of a> letter of A Calkin to O. Pratt and J. M. Brown's reply to the same, will explain the matter fully.
