Bishop L. E. Harrington,
American Fork, Utah Co., U. T.,

Dear Brother:-A sister Sarah Hyott or Hoitt, for her name has come to this Office spelled both those ways, has written to me, from Burkland Cottage, Queen Street, Leamington Spa, England, requesting that her husband John Hyott or Hoitt, who she states, resides in American Fork, assist her and his son in her care to emigrate, as she is poor and can not come here without assistance, though she writes she could have come had it not been for the expense she has been at in taking care of his son.

Please inquire into the matter, and inform me at your earliest convenience and oblige.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
