Mr Dwight Eveleth

Dear Brother.

I received your note of Ju[ly?] 18, a short time since.  I find
that the land of Gold has caught you it being the object for which you are
and I hope and pray that you may be enabled to receive your expectations and
return and find all well (of yours) and [?] with you to the gathering
place of the saints, that you may be able to assist his servants in building up
the kingdom of God upon the earth  No doubt the ways of God <and those> of his
people, are different from the ways of the world in many respects    this should
certainly be so, where in the world
the Saints of the Most High should [?] from her
filthiness and her abominations,
deliver themselves therefrom. This
saints have measureably accomplish
faith expect fully to realize

I am happy to learn that
and feel determined to get
assured that in this way you will accomplish your desires  Through this
cause many have lost their faith because of being
instead of waiting patiently, rejected even that which they had received.
We are not always to be the Church [?] at first, but expect to
progress until we shall attain unto [?] of the man : being
born into the kingdom of righteous ness if we live up to our privileges, and
make a good use of our blessings [?] and Seer,
only to follow the counsel of his [?] to the
perfect man in Christ Jesus
with the Only Begotten, and have
the mansions of the blessed
among the Gods of Eternities
truth and all error.  A man
the light of truth, a means for men to
opposite becoming in
themselves as low according to the
true principle would have
chosen the path of peace
should we refrain [?]  in the due time
to do  so, from emitting, reflecting and
of  [?] because peradventure some [illegible] and
and bring disgrace upon
It worketh not thus, it is a mistaken idea.
righteous principle, he can only pollute [illegible] and only the more
so as having the true knowledge it qualif [illegible] greater condemnation

I am glad to hear from you and  [illegible] but time presses.
therefore close praying God my Heavenly Father in your behalf that you may
be preserved in the purity of the faith and be enabled to bring yourself and
family to dwell with the Saints of God in the [?] mountains.

Ever your friend and brother
