Utah Territory Dec. 16. 1864. James Willcox, Esq.,
No 508 Broadway, New York.

Dear Sir:

I take great pleasure in acknowledging the receipt of the fine Sewing Machine which you had the kindness to send me by H. B. Clawson, Esq.

I have several good Sewing Machines, by various makers, in use in my family; but your Machine, which I received this Fall, is superior to them all. It is very simple in its construction, is worked very easily, and will I think, be very durable, and is in every respect the best Machine for family use that I have seen in this Territory.

Please accept my thanks for your kind and handsome present.

I remain dear Sir
Yours Truly,

Brigham Young
