Elder Mark

Antony Coombs,

Dear Brother,

Your favor of Dec. 28th, 1864, asking for the privilege of taking a Mission to and visiting the land of your nativity --the State of Maine--has been received.

If you are well enough to take such a Mission, and endure the fatigue, etc., incident thereto, you are at liberty to go. But, before you leave on such a Mission, you had better have some teeth fixed for you. It would be wise, I should think, for you to come to this City and have a set of teeth made if you can raise the means so that you will have something to chew with and that you may be able to speak plainly.

I remain, Your Brother in the Lord

Brigham Young

P. S.

Should you conclude to have you some new teeth made, I can get them made for you pretty cheap.
